In line with its commitment to inclusion and equality and raising awareness about the rights of persons with disabilities, Amwaj Association for Community Development participated on Sunday, December 2, 2018, in a solidarity stand with local institutions supporting persons with disabilities. This participation was coordinated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and the World Health Organization (WHO), emphasizing the importance of supporting persons with disabilities and advocating for their equal rights and opportunities in society. The association was represented at the event by Ms. Mai Al-Faram, Vice Chairperson of the Board, who affirmed Amwaj Association’s steadfast position in supporting persons with disabilities and promoting their integration in all community, educational, and cultural activities. The stand conveyed several key messages, including: The importance of inclusion and equality in all aspects of life, particularly regarding access to health, education, and social services.
