Amwaj Association for Development and Community Development, with the support of the Islamic Relief Foundation in Gaza, carried out a meat distribution activity as part of the 2020 Qurbani project, coinciding with the blessed Eid al-Adha, within the framework of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support needy families and enhance social solidarity within the Palestinian community. The association worked on distributing 100 portions of Qurbani meat targeting 100 families of needy and modest means in several areas of the Gaza Strip, with a focus on the most needy families, especially given the difficult economic and living conditions many families are experiencing. This activity aimed to bring joy and happiness to the hearts of these families during the Eid days and to help them meet part of their food needs. The distribution process was carried out according to an organized mechanism that ensures aid reaches its rightful recipients fairly and systematically, with the association team and volunteers preparing and distributing the portions to the beneficiary families while observing the necessary organizational and health procedures during the distribution process. This activity is part of a series of humanitarian initiatives and projects implemented by Amwaj Association for Development.The association, in collaboration with its supporting partners, aims to alleviate the suffering of needy families and promote a spirit of solidarity and mutual support among community members.
